Future Plans
Ultimately Billy has been bred as an international endurance horse who we hope one day will do a 160 km in a day and the ultimate goal with him is to gain a place on the British Senior Squad however he will have a varied career as he will be Evented, Show jumped and Dressaged as well as Endurance.

This breeding has meant that Billy has shown great potential in all spheres along with a very laid back and trainable temperament. He is the ideal stallion for maiden mares as he is very quiet and laid back when covering and is suitable for the smaller mare as he is a light but athletic horse.
In 2008 he has been lightly competed in a range of disciplines and stood at public stud. He has achieved open status as an endurance horse and will do Graded rides up to 80km in a day in 2009 in preparation for starting international FEI endurance rides in 2010 as a 7yo the earliest age British horses can do FEI international rides.
In 2009 he will be Evented by one of the top Young Event Riders Aaron Miller. (photo by kind permission of www.suspended-Animation.co.uk)
He has done rides of varying terrain and has shown a huge ground covering stride powers up the hills and is happy to ride alone or in company and competes and travels in the lorry with in season mares.
He has also competed at unaffiliated level in Show Jumping and Dressage in 2008 showing a natural talent for both disciplines achieving good percentages in his Dressage and Jumping double clears Show Jumping. He will spend the winter of 2008/2009 doing Indoor Show Jumping and Dressage and we hope to compete him in a range of disciplines in 2009 in preparation for getting him National Stallion Association graded late summer 2009.
He has 3 foals due in 2009 and 3 progeny on the ground, he covers in hand and turns out with his in foal mum during the winter, stables next to mares or geldings. He is very laid back in his stable and can often be seen with the kids practicing their round the world on him!!
